Present tense and the shape of a sentence
Present simple, present continuous, stative verbs, and basic word order with 'be' and main verbs.
Extra support on basic sentence structure (subject + verb) for true beginners.
Listening Part 1: basic note completion.
About 190 core academic words.
Past tense
Past simple, past continuous, and used to and would.
Focused drilling of irregular verbs (Appendix 1).
Academic Reading: an intro to skimming and scanning.
About 380 words cumulative.
